About | Carlotta Parisi
Carlotta Parisi was born in Montalcino, but her passion for drawing led her to move to Milan to study editorial illustration. In Milan, she worked for several years. When she moved back to Val d’Orcia, she began expressing herself through paper sculptures (papier-mâché), the latest evolution of her artistic versatility. In 2011, her Paper Cirkus travelled around Italy with the tour of the famous quick-change artist Arturo Brachetti, thus attracting the attention of the press and television.
On display from 28 August to 13 September 2015
Tuesday to Friday 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
The opening tasting was offered by the winery Nostra Vita by Annibale Parisi, a small family-run business where all activities, including the grape harvest, are still carried out by hand by the entire Parisi family. The family follow all the steps of winemaking, from the vineyard to the bottle, personally and passionately and they draw each individual label by hand; no standard production methods are used at Nostra Vita.
