References to the lagoon are continuous but never explicit. The connecting element throughout the island is the counter, a sort of Istrian stone cleat (bar) or the deadwork of wooden hulls (wine bar). The wood is reclaimed from planks sourced from Cansiglio. The counter always maintains the same shape but transforms through materials, defining the various functions.

The outdoor seating area, or "dehors," evokes the Venetian bacaro style: long and narrow tables with bench seating crafted from dark wood with a solid beechwood central pocket and small pendant lamps designed in single-colored Murano glass.
