salustri wine cellar
cinigiano (gr)2005
At 500 meters above sea level in the hinterland of Grosseto, a new wine cellar has been built after demolishing a prefabricated warehouse built in the ’50s. The wine gets into the cellar through gravity, while there is natural air conditioning and humidity control.

Given that the new building has a larger volume than the demolished warehouse, part of it has been built underground, while the entrance has been built downstairs without changing the surface level.
