Designed as a small village drowned in agricultural greenery and located halfway up the hill, the new oenological center recalls, in its forms, the typical Sicilian baglio, here reinterpreted in a contemporary key. The building is inspired by the constructive teachings of the Mediterranean tradition that used materials, shapes and architectural composition as expedients to naturally air-condition the internal environments, making them comfortable both in the heaviest and most rigid periods.

The thick walls will ensure the thermal inertia necessary for the refinement of the wine and the balance of the internal microclimates as well as giving that massive aspect of solidity typical of Sicilian beams. Inside the reception center, a museum, administrative and executive offices, the barrel room, a restaurant and a congress center for 600 people.
