A delicatessen and grocer’s shop in the centre of Bergamo. I wanted to make its architectural forms and materials look like “edible” to the eye. No synthetic materials were used: wood in its natural state, crushed and waxed marble dust plaster, and worn and patinated Istrian stone. All the furniture, the installations and systems in full view, and the workbenches were custom-made.
