montalcino (si)ongoing
The project for the School Complex at Spuntone in Montalcino is part of a broader urban regeneration initiative that also includes an underground multi-story parking facility, an urban park, and road safety improvements carried out in collaboration with Giacomo Massoni, Michele Grazzini, Andrea Tonazzini, Giorgia Colombo, Riccardo Masoni, Pablo Valero Escolano, and Carlos Orihuela García as part of a temporary grouping of professionals (RTP).

The new school complex will house a nursery, a preschool, a primary school, and a middle school, featuring shared spaces such as a cafeteria and a gymnasium.

The building will be sustainable, highly energy-efficient, and fully accessible. The underground parking facility, with approximately 280 spaces, will be topped by a multifunctional public square, while the urban park will enhance the green area with pedestrian and cycling paths.

This initiative will improve the city’s livability, enhancing its historical and landscape context through innovative and sustainable solutions.
