Nestled in the heart of the Bergamo mountains, the farmhouse in Valgoglio serves as a rejuvenating retreat for a couple from Bergamo, offering an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The project, inspired by the architectural language of Edoardo Milesi, blends tradition and modernity while harmonizing with the natural surroundings.

The design emphasizes sustainability and simplicity, prioritizing natural materials and a layout conceived for relaxation and contemplation. Every detail is thoughtfully crafted to strike a balance between domestic intimacy and immersion in the untouched beauty of the alpine environment.

The exterior stone walls, carefully preserved and restored, tell the story of the location, while the warm and welcoming interiors open up to new perspectives on living. Exposed wooden beams lend character and warmth, complementing spacious areas illuminated by large glass openings that frame the mountain landscape and create a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors.
