Conceived with a conservative yet innovative approach, the project respects the building’s historic essence while integrating architectural elements that enhance its usability and aesthetic value.
A distinctive feature of the project is the iron helical staircase, which serves as a visual and functional focal point, connecting the ground floor to the upper exhibition areas. These spaces are accessed via iron walkways that weave through the ancient walls, creating a striking sense of suspension and lightness.
