Renovating the Pecora Vecchia estate implied moving the building that was the less significant from a historical and compositional point of view outside the action of the magnetic field of the nearby power line.

Therefore, the old barn – sufficiently far away – has been renovated and converted from an agricultural building to a residential building. Given the difference in volume between the old and the new building, an additional modern building could be built with bricks left over from the old building.

The entire complex has a fully computerized complex mechanical system that includes a photovoltaic plant, a solar collector and a geothermal generator, which provide for a passive building with high thermal inertia and breathability.
