The new headquarters of the Brunello di Montalcino Consortium is located within the main pedestrian route between the public spaces of the cloisters and the courtyard, which will cross the entire Complex of Saint Augustine. The project involves removing all cement elements that were added in the past after carefully analysing the samples taken from the internal walls, and creating supporting structural elements made of steel to lighten the weight of the entire structure and make it stronger.

The main feature of the project is certainly the vertical layout of the six floors. The structure of the building is made of rough iron, cement and glass, while all elements added in the 70s, when the medieval building was used as a residential home for the elderly, will be removed.

The building can be accessed from the street through an entrance hall that leads to the adjacent offices and the new staircase. It can also be accessed from the internal cloister, which in turn can be accessed from the staircase. The staircase leads to the administrative open-space offices on the upper floors and up to the floor intended for the conference room, the offices, the archives and the management room, from which a privileged view can be enjoyed ranging from the Fortress of Montalcino and the Church of Saint Augustine to the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside.
