addition of a storey
to an industrial shed
zingonia (bg)2005
The project aims to add a storey to an industrial shed without stopping production activities on the ground floor. For this reason, an entirely dry-mounted steel structure has been added to the industrial shed – a prefabricated building made of reinforced concrete in the 1960s.

The curtain walls are made of double-walled plasterboard, while the false ceiling has been attached to the multi-layer birch wood structure (only where necessary). It is soundproof and has lighting integrated in it. The floors are made of paste-coloured industrial reinforced concrete.
