Motivations of the Mention: The project proposes a new highly iconic structure that highlights the structural elements of a compact and vertical building. The memory of the pre-existence is evidenced by the ground floor where the structure of the “first” Corsi refuge is maintained. On the upper floors the common space, open on the terrace, is the basis for the succession of floors intended for the sleeping area.
