bar “al sedano”

A bar in the centre of Viareggio offered too important an opportunity for a young architect. Everything was custom made: the bar counter and tables made of concrete grit, the lighting fixtures made of raw iron and fabric, the silkscreen print with the shadow of my young son and my wife hanging on the vertical plane of the bar counter. I designed the logo with my friend and artist Telmo Pievani. Above the counter, a reticular structure casts artificial light through an enveloping drapery placed all over it.
