In the new eco-sustainable district of Ponteranica, in the province of Bergamo, our first methodological objective and at the same time mandatory condition was to pursue harmony in the unity of the operation; the same unity that people find in nature when they first settle in a site and have to optimize the use of resources; when the environment adapts to the synergistic cohabitation of different elements. A building is a living element that produces and consumes even when it is not active.

The strong link between architecture and the language of nature is the innovative starting point to make functional and formal choices in a fluid dialogue between interiors and exteriors. The issues of energy consumption and construction costs are important, but we must aim for quality of life and good architecture. The objective is quality of living, the good and beautiful usability of the building in a district that highly regards ecological quality and commitment harmoniously integrated into the surrounding landscape.

Low-energy buildings made of natural and recyclable materials, solar greenhouses, and innovative architectural forms that adapt to the needs and the climate of the location. An ecological village, a set of dwellings tailored to the available surface area that withstand anthropic pressure.
