complex of
saint augustine
montalcino (si)2015
When a complex like that of Saint Augustine is renovated, not only its walls, but also the culture that flourished inside it are restored. An urban culture based on the exchange between what was produced inside and outside. The rebirth of the complex should not only enhance the artistic heritage in it, but it should also be able to build and cultivate relationships.
The complex will include: the Etruscan Archaeological Museum, the Diocesan Museum of the Province of Siena, the restoration workshop for the frescoes of the Church of Saint Augustine, the new headquarters of the Brunello Consortium, and a residential architecture school (the Creative Workshop of Living), which acts as a cultural incubator for international educational seminars on different topics.
