Choosing not to relocate these functions to cities with greater international visibility certainly gives the company credit. Therefore, in addition to tackling purely functional issues, which are solved through appropriate ergonomic and lighting solutions, the corporate image needs to be renovated through an architectural composition that takes into account the historical roots of the company while providing the premises with a highly contemporary appearance.

The urban redevelopment mainly focuses on the historical square Madonna della Gamba, which has been closed to vehicle traffic and pedestrianized and extended to the edges of the historical buildings, the fences around which have been removed, so that the buildings now form a sort of perimeter curtain around the square. The historical square thus becomes the main feature without being isolated. In fact, it is linked to the production area through the new private park, which acts as a filter and hinge between the ancient historical centre and the production area.

The project merges architecture and urban planning together to enhance and redevelop the city for its inhabitants, while believing that if the prestige of the company increases, so does the prestige of the community.
